At Ticketme, 0% to 90% of the profit from secondary sales is returned to the ticket issuer (organizer).
This percentage is set by the organizer when the ticket is sold and cannot be changed during secondary sales.
For users reselling in the secondary market, the amount after deducting the resale royalty to the organizer from the profit is recorded as sales.
Calculation Example 1
If a ticket purchased for 2,000 yen is sold for 8,000 yen in the secondary market:
Resale royalty set by the organizer: 50%
8,000 yen - 2,000 yen = 6,000 yen ・・・ Profit from secondary sale
6,000 yen * 50% = 3,000 yen ・・・ Returned to the organizer
6,000 yen - 3,000 yen = 3,000 yen ・・・ Your sales
Calculation Example 2
If a ticket purchased for 3,000 yen is sold for 5,000 yen in the secondary market:
Resale royalty set by the organizer: 15%
5,000 yen - 3,000 yen = 2,000 yen ・・・ Profit from secondary sale
2,000 yen * 15% = 300 yen ・・・ Returned to the organizer
2,000 yen - 300 yen = 1,700 yen ・・・ Your sales
※ Tickets created before February 1, 2024, follow a system where the purchaser pays a flat 5% resale royalty instead of the secondary seller.
